A Convention Center in Action:

This exemplary approach positions the Antipolis Convention Center as a reference point and committed player in fostering more responsible event management in the region.

We reduce and recover waste:

  • Four-stream waste sorting (paper-cardboard, plastic, glass, and biowaste)
  • Composting of biowaste for planter maintenance
  • Reusable glasses, carafes, and tableware; gradual phase-out of disposable cups
  • Water fountains available
  • Collection of cigarette butts for recycling
  • Redistribution of unsold food products

We reduce and recycle materials used:

  • Removal of carpeting from booth areas (unless requested by the organizer)
  • Reuse of undated event signage banners
  • Repurposing exhibition materials (e.g., staff kitchen refurbishment with laminated wood panels from exhibition stands)

We save energy daily:

  • Heating and air conditioning adjusted according to activity needs
  • Systematic switching off of lights after use
  • Use of low-energy lighting

We encourage eco-responsible travel:

  • Promotion of soft mobility
  • Carpooling solutions offered

We practice responsible purchasing and support committed suppliers:

  • Mandatory sustainability criteria in tenders (20% of overall score)
  • Local and ethical partnerships (Antibes bakeries and biscuit makers, regional wines, seasonal products and fruits, local artisans, etc.)

We raise awareness among our audiences about responsible practices:

  • Installation of playful signage, inspired by the “nudge” method (gentle incentive), in our spaces

We promote delegate well-being:

  • Activities and services focused on fitness and well-being (yoga sessions, morning runs, zen massage areas, sensory perfume workshops, coastal trail walks, etc.)
  • CSR awareness activities (collaborative workshops on climate and biodiversity, nature walks, environmental escape games, etc.)

And staff well-being:

  • Work flexibility: anticipating activity peaks and managing rest periods
  • Regular team dialogue spaces for each event
