La Bastide du Roy

An exceptional classified estate, offering a panoramic view of the Bay of Angels and its mountains, La Bastide, located in Antibes – on the edge of the golf course and the old village of Biot – appears in all its majesty behind restanque dry-stone walls and olive trees.
Offered to Henri IV, then inhabited by Louis XV, it was in 1924 that the famous stylist Jeanne Lanvin, accompanied her son-in-law the Count of Polignac, took over the estate.
Numerous artists have walked the wide alleys of pine and olive trees: Francis Poulenc, Colette, Jean Cocteau, the Countess of Noailles, as well as the Rolling Stones. The sculptor Cesar leaves and engraves the imprint of his passage alongside his friends, Arman, Ben and Folon.

A place of refinement and elegance, a mixture of Versailles and Provence.
